Brothers and Sisters,
To say that it is both an honor and a privilege to have been elected as President for GKP-USA will be putting it mildly. I am honored but at the same time humbled - will I prove equal to the trust you have given me as President? I don't even know where to begin in the task our organization has committed itself to - brotherhood, service and honor are such big words to truly translate into deeds. I can only try as I hope that with your full support, yes, we will succeed as we always have.
This organization has committed itself to fostering unity and brotherhood among its members. To be there when needed, to be of comfort, in short, a man for others.
No man is an island unto himself, and at no time this is demonstrated than today when all around us, we see so much chaos - both natural and man-made. Calamities happen all the time - our world is no longer the ideal place that we all want it to be. But with all these happenings around us have transcended just families and nationalities - all these have shown to us that after everything had said and done, we are all just members of the same humanity who need to bond, to share, to reach out to others because being alone, we can do nothing.
I cannot say enough of the need for as to be one to make us strong - only in unity we can succeed in what our organization aspires for its members. Together and with your full support, we will always succeed.
So I hope. So may it be.
